Book Launch: Wednesday is Jim Day

event date:
Wednesday, 26 June 2019 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Wednesday is Jim Day, is an inspiring children’s book viewed through the eyes of a child that survived the devastating Ash Wednesday Fires that occurred on 16 February 1983.

Wednesday is Jim Day takes you on an emotional and uplifting journey from disaster to recovery. This heartfelt story of how one person, with an enormous heart, dedication and commitment was able to not only provide physical support, but most importantly emotional support and strength to a farming family that had lost so much. By providing consistency in a turbulent environment he encouraged hope and enabled renewal. The message of how one person can make a difference is further enhanced through the illustrations of local artist, Andrea Radley donating her time to create exceptional lino print artwork that allows a heart whelming story to lift from every page and into our minds. A truly inspiring true story that demonstrates how one person can make a difference.

This event is free to attend however bookings are essential. Please register your attendance to this event via Eventbrite (click here).
