Our learning service offers wonderful learning opportunities at all levels and educational needs through its incredible permanent collection and wide variety of temporary exhbitions and installations. Programs at WAG support learning across many subject areas including providing inspiration and resources for STEAM teaching. From a range of core sessions which are available to book year round to specifically designed workshops and activities based on our ever changing exhibition program, WAG is the place to bring your students to inspire, innovate and captivate.

Spring Holiday Workshop: Spring Nature Crowns.

Celebrate the return of Spring these school holidays at Warrnambool Art Gallery.

Taking inspiration from the elements of nature, children will create a delightful crown to wear.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Spring Holiday Workshop: Botanical hammer printing.

Capture the colour of plants in this fun and noisy printing session.

Children will learn about natural plant dyes whilst using a hammer and flowers to create unique prints.

Workshop: Drawing Basics.

Exploring the fundamentals of drawing and utilising a range of media, participants will be guided through a range of basic drawing techniques aimed at skill development and understanding.

Young Entrepreneurs Market

Saturday 1 October 11am-2pm

WAG invites young creatives aged 5+ to gather, create or make products to sell in market stalls at the WAG courtyard. Book in to reserve a 1 hour timeslot in one of our stalls.
