Allan McKenzie

Acrylic on canvas

Allan was born and raised on a sheep farm in Caramut. He grew up contributing to his community whenever he could. He was part of the local football club and the church community. As an adult he moved his young family to Warrnambool to be closer to facilities. At this stage of his life Allan gave his time and knowledge to the local scouts club, teaching life skills and how to have fun to children.
Allan’s calm nurturing attributes, along with his willingness to help others, lead to him becoming qualified in Myotherapy and Bowen-Therapy. Allen took his healing skills and his love of footy and has happily volunteered for years within the local footy community, with many local clubs as coach and trainer.  Eventually he joined Allansford footy club where he has remained for seven years and counting.
Today, Allan is still very much a giving person. He is happy to lend a hand to anyone in need. Allen works as a disability support person within our community. He is a father of two successful children; both are working hard to achieve their own rewards in life. He is a man very much in love with his wife, and his life. Allan hopes to continue to be a support in our community. Thank you Allan.
