Acrylic on canvas

The Gillin family have been committed to raising funds and awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, in the hope of finding a cure for future generations. The Gillin family began their fundraising journey selling green shoelaces. The Gillin’s were supported by local sporting clubs and individuals, which has grown to an international level - way beyond their expectations.
Sadly, Aaron passed away on October 2017 aged 24. On Australia Day in 2018 Christopher and Aaron were recognised for their contribution and received the WCC Young Citizens award. In 2019, ‘The Gillin Boys Foundation’ was launched. Since 2016, the Gillin’s have raised approximately $220,000.
