Come and meet the creators of The Great Southern Reef picture book for children, featuring Professor Seaweed and the amazing ocean animals and environments along our coastline. Authors Dr Paul Venzo and Dr Prue Francis, from Deakin University, will lead a book reading for kids and their parents and caregivers. There will be time for questions about the book and the reef itself, and information about what it takes to become an ocean steward. The reading and Q&A session will be followed by an ocean-themed art-making activity for kids, hosted by the Warrnambool Art Gallery education team.
