Get involved in your local regional art gallery! Volunteers are an important and highly valued part of Warrnambool Art Gallery’s day-to-day operation, and there are various opportunities for those who have a strong or keen interest in the arts to become involved.

Warrnambool Art Gallery offers an inspiring environment to work in and to learn about WAG's wonderful collection of artworks ranging from European salon paintings of the 1800s, colonial artworks and indigenous artefacts, to the Melbourne Modernists of the 1940s and contemporary art.

Each year, WAG makes available a few placements for secondary school and tertiary students who are undertaking structured workplace learning or work experience. These placements fill quickly and it is advisable to contact the Gallery early to express your interest.

Email Oksana Khaidurova at okhaidurova [at] warrnambool [dot] vic [dot] gov [dot] au, or call (03) 5559 4949 to register your interest in becoming a volunteer or if interested in a work experience placement.
